In 2016, Jake Sloane and Frank Zhang walked away from Wall Street to build something that didn’t exist: a partnership model built by founders, for founders—where business builders never have to choose between a meaningful financial exit and the legacy they leave behind.

The Beginning
Jake and Frank leave Wall Street to build a new kind of partnership model
2017
Alliance Animal Health Launched
First platform launches in Crete, NE followed by an inflection point in Springdale, AR. Grows to 230+ veterinary locations across 35+ states.
2020
Crete United Launched
Building services platform launched in Denver, CO. Grows from $0 to nearly $1B in revenue in five years.
2021
Legacy Service Partners Launched
Residential services platform launched in Minneapolis, MN and grew to 40+ partners today
2023
Current Launched
Partnered with $20 million revenue accounting firm in Somerset, NJ and scaled to a top 30 national accounting firm in under three years.
2024
Rocket Youth and Shield Launched

Partnered with a single-location gymnastics facility in Silver Spring, MD to form Rocket Youth, now one of the country’s leading youth enrichment platforms.

Partnered with a forward-thinking IT company in Los Angeles, CA to establish Shield Technology Partners, now a national AI-enabled managed services provider.

Springdale Industries Formed
Built as a permanent capital vehicle to continue backing exceptional local businesses like the one we partnered with in Springdale, AR.

Co-Founders & Co-CEOs

Jake and Frank have cofounded 10+ companies together in the past decade, including Eagle Security Alliance, Greenwood Advisors, Liberty Paving Partners, Shield Technology Partners, Rocket Youth, Current, Legacy Service Partners, Crete United, and Alliance Animal Health. Throughout their entrepreneurial journey, they have worked shoulder to shoulder with the founders they partner with to build enduring businesses.

Before becoming entrepreneurs, Jake and Frank worked in traditional private equity at The Carlyle Group and Apollo Global respectively. Jake received a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Frank received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Jake and Frank serve on the board of The Heckscher Foundation for Children, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping underserved youth realize their full potential.
